Qualification

In addition to the diverse qualification opportunities offered by the structured teaching programs of the faculty, further qualifications through doctoral studies and habilitation are also possible.

Doctoral studies can be carried out individually or in a graduate school (LSM, GSN) and are supervised by an advisory board. The successful completion leads to the award of a doctorate.

The habilitation is accompanied by a mentoring board and requires not only research achievements but also regular and successful teaching. After successful habilitation, the title Dr. habil. or, upon application, the title “Privatdozent” is awarded. Both qualification programs are coordinated by the Dean's Office of the faculty.
